Let your child step into the spotlight with MTAOC’s exciting lineup of summer musical theatre camps and dance workshops designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and create lasting friendships. From Broadway-style productions to themed dance camps, master classes and performance opportunities for every age group, there’s a place for every young performer to shine.
Summer on Broadway 2026
Join us this summer for our fast-paced intensive Musical Theater workshop for students Ages 8 to 16. The cast will learn Broadway-style choreography and vocals for 14 jam-packed days culminating in 2 performances showcasing all that they have learned. Shows will include a minimum of 30 to 40 Broadway Songs with a yet-to-be- determined theme and will be performed at the Huntington Beach Central Library Theater.
Due to the fast pace of instruction, it is required that students attend ALL rehearsals for the FULL time and attend ALL performances to participate. Class size is limited to 48 Students and spaces fill up quickly, so register early to make sure you are in the mix! No previous experience necessary to join in on the excitement.
The first 11 days of rehearsals are held at the MTAOC Studio in Costa Mesa, before moving into the theater for the final three days of staging and the performances. All-singing, all- dancing, all FUN! Don’t miss out on the action that occurs in this favorite MTAOC annual tradition!
Audition and Rehearsal Dates:
Auditions and rehearsals will be held at the MTAOC studio at 151 Kalmus Dr. Ste L2 in Costa Mesa.
- Wednesday – Friday, July 8 – 10 from 10 am – 4 pm LEARN VOCALS/AUDITION FOR SOLOS
- Monday – Friday, July 13 -17 AND July 20 – 22 from 10 am – 4 pm STAGE THE SHOW/DAILY DANCING AND SINGING
Please Note: Each Day of Class, Students will be given a 15-Minute Snack/Water Break with Snacks provided by MTAOC. There will also be a 45-Minute Lunch Break. All Students need to bring a Sack Lunch daily, and will be supervised during this time by a Staff Member.
Tech and Performance Dates:
Tech and performances will be held at the Huntington Beach Central Library Theater.
- Thursday – Friday, July 23 – 24 10 am – 4 pm Final Rehearsals/Tech at the Theater
- FRIDAY, JULY 24 at 7 pm Show 1
- SATURDAY, JULY 25 at 5 pm Show 2.There will be NO Day Class on 7/25, just a 4 pm Call Time for the final show.

Tiny & Twinkle Star Summer
July 7 – July 25, 2026
TINY STARS (Ages 4-5) and TWINKLE STARS (Ages 6-7)
Join the FUTURE STARS OF TOMORROW as they sing and dance their way to a live stage performance! Class meets twice a week for 3 Weeks at the MTAOC Studio located at 151 Kalmus Dr. Ste L2 in Costa Mesa and culminates with a special big-stage performance at our SUMMER ON BROADWAY show. Tuition for this session is $199.00.

Wicked Dance Camp
June 22 – 26, 2026
Ages 7 – 13
Something magical is coming this summer! Join our wickedly fun theater camp for ages 7–13, inspired by the enchanting world of Oz. Campers will explore dancing, acting, singing, and creative storytelling through fun games, crafts, and rehearsals. Whether you’re a natural performer or just exploring for fun, every camper will build confidence and make some new friends. The week will end with an entertaining showcase for family and friends to watch!
Tuition for this session is $300.00.
Dates: Monday – Friday, June 22 – 26, 2026 10 am – 3 pm at the MTAOC Studio
Instructors: Alexa & Adriana are dancers with a passion for performing and 15 years of training in jazz, contemporary, musical theater, lyrical, ballet and jazz funk styles. They have years working with commercial choreographers, are agency-signed and have taken classes in LA and NY. They have experience assisting teachers/choreographers, as well as teaching in studios and for the Universal Dance Association.
Summer Saturdays at MTAOC
Spend your summer Saturdays at MTAOC with exciting master classes, workshops, and specialty sessions in musical theater, acting, tap, film, directing, clowning, casting, and more! Designed for students ages 7–18, these unique experiences are taught by accomplished MTAOC alumni and working industry professionals who bring real-world experience and insight into every class. Whether students are looking to sharpen audition skills, explore new performance styles, or simply have fun and grow as performers, Summer Saturdays offer something for everyone!
Tuition:
- $65 per class when registering ahead
- $75 per class for same-day drop in
- $300 for a package of 5 classes
