…the benefits of MTA’s program reach far beyond the doors of the theater…

“I have always understood that the benefits of MTA’s program reach far beyond the doors of the theater. What surprised me is how much my child understood and could so easily articulate when she applied what she learned at MTA into her everyday experiences.”

When I think of MTA, tears of joy come to my eyes…

I watch my teenage son transform from someone who could hardly find his way on stage, turn into a confident actor, singer and dancer in only a two-year period.  This year our other teenage son with little theater background also joined, and performed not only in ensemble, but as a secondary lead.  Needless to say, tears again as I watched this boy take the stage with confidence.  Thanks Jimmy and staff who took the time to help my two sons find their way on and off stage, and build confidence in them for their future.  I will forever be grateful.

We were watching the next generation of talent on MTA’s stage…

I was so impressed at the professionalism and talent of ALL of these kids.  They take on some pretty difficult roles and material and give performances equal to that of paid professionals.  I applaud all of the staff, teachers, and directors for helping to bring out such remarkable singing, acting and dancing qualities in even the smallest of performers.  We were watching the next generation of talent on MTA's stage, and it is a beautiful thing to watch.  Just spectacular!
