Rising Stars: Ages 7-13
Join MTA’s Rising Stars in a high-energy adventure with Disney’s Descendants: The Musical! Based on the hit Disney Channel movies, this family-friendly show follows the children of infamous villains – Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos – as they leave the Isle of the Lost to attend Auradon Prep. Filled with catchy songs, fun dance numbers, and a heartfelt message about friendship and choosing your own destiny, Descendants is a fun-filled experience for audiences of all ages.
AUDITIONS will take place both Monday AND Wednesday January 12th and 14th, 2026, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm
Please note: ALL of those auditioning must plan on attending BOTH auditions for the full duration in order to enhance your chances of being considered for a possible Leading Role, which will be selected SOLELY at the discretion of the auditioning staff. Please bring a Snack or Light Dinner to the auditions.
Regular Rehearsals begin on Monday, January 19th, for FULL CAST. REHEARSALS will occur every Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:30 pm for FULL CAST and every Monday from 4:00 to 6:30 pm for smaller scenes and groups as called. You must be available to be scheduled both days of rehearsal if needed. A detailed final rehearsal schedule will be provided after the show is cast.
TECH WEEK – May 11 – 14, 2026, 4 pm – 8 pm
4 PERFORMANCES – May 15th at 7:00 pm, May 16th at 2:00pm and 7:00 pm, and May 17th at 2:00 pm
