Registration is Open to any Rising Star student who is pre-enrolled for our Fall Production of “Shrek Jr.”
Class Size: Minimum of 5 Students must enroll for the class to “Freak Fly” and a Maximum of 20 Spots are Available. “Let Your Freak Flag Fly!” is a “Shrek Jr, The Musical” Audition Workshop, lead by MTAOC’s newest teacher, and professional character actor, Bill Hartery!
Whether you’re new to the stage, or a seasoned vet, audition workshops help us learn how to give our best audition in a fun, safe, group environment. In this workshop you will learn how to:
● Safely do the crazy voices, accents, and dialects specific to the characters in Shrek the Musical
● Explore their cartoonish physicality and movement
● Make big acting choices that are grounded and honest
Mr. Bill has had years of experience playing these types of characters in professional companies like the national tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats, and Disney Cruise Lines. He’s excited to help you rock your audition!
