Shooting Stars – All Shook Up! (Payments)

Ages 13-18

Join MTA’s Shooting Stars, ages 13-18, in this semester’s production of All; Shook Up! This Broadway-style show is set in a state-of-the-art 400 seat theater with full sets and costumes.

All Shook Up is a musical comedy built around a number of songs made famous by Elvis Presley. It’s NOT a biographical revue. It takes place in 1955, somewhere in middle America, where one girl’s dream and a surprise visit from a mysterious leather-jacketed, guitar-playing stranger help a small town to discover the magic of romance and the power of rock & roll. Among the 24 songs featured in the score are classics like “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Love Me Tender,” “Don’t Be Cruel,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” and of course the title tune.

All those auditioning for “All Shook Up” should plan on attending the entire audition on BOTH days for the full duration of time.  A Lunch Break will be given on the Saturday audition between 1 and 2 pm.

REHEARSALS will occur every Saturday from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm for FULL CAST and every Thursday from 6:15 to 9:30 pm for smaller scenes and groups as needed.  You must be available to be scheduled both days of rehearsal.

Regular Rehearsals begin Thursday, September 16th, 2021.

(3) JANUARY, 2022, TECH REHEARSALS on 1/17, 1/18, and 1/19 from 5 pm to 10 pm each night.
