Introduction to Puppetry

In this whimsical, brand new to MTA class, take your first steps towards becoming a masterful puppeteer! Be the performer at your next audition that is able to say “Why yes, I do have experience with puppeteering!” Alongside instructor Katherine Robinson, you will learn how to build your own unique puppet, practice the fundamentals of good puppetry, and focus on performing short skits with your new “mouth” puppet, similar to those used on “The Muppet Show.” This course will culminate in a short performance for family and friends using the wonderful puppets you built together as a class.

Open to students 8-18.

If the class is full, please contact MTA to be added to a waitlist.

Classes are Thursdays beginning September 29th and ending November 17th, from 4:30-6:00 pm.
