Classes and programs for the Spring 2021 season
Tiny Stars
Classes this Spring Season will meet weekly on FRIDAYS, from 4:00 to 4:50 pm, and will feature a virtual learning experience on ZOOM until further notice.
13-Week Course, beginning March 5th, 2021, through June 11th (No Class on April 2nd or May 28th due to Holiday Weekends). Rehearsal at the Theater on the BIG STAGE (subject to Covid-19 restrictions being lifted) on Friday, June 18th at regular class time. TINY STARS will be performing at Intermission of the 2 pm THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE Matinee Show on Sunday, June 20th.

Twinkle Stars
Our Twinkle Stars, ages 5-7, continue their education on the fundamentals of dance and voice as the class works to develop more elements of musicality and movement for the next level.
Rehearsals are weekly on Tuesdays, 3:00 – 4:00pm. Start date is June 1, 2021. Classes through July 20, 2021.

Brite Stars
Join our Brite Stars Cast (Ages 8 and up) as we tell the story of The Jungle Book!
With current state of COVID-19 and social-distancing – we will do all we can to make this a live on-stage experience. We have just come off a very successful season with Moana Jr, and were able to bring the show to the stage! Our first live show in over a year!
The cast rehearses are every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday through production in late June/July. Monday rehearsals will be scheduled with small groups for scene study. Tuesdays will be full cast rehearsals,. Thursday’s will also be small groups and scene study as needed. A commitment for all days is needed if you wish to audition for a feature role. If you just want to be in the ensemble – then Tuesday’s will be the commitment day. Given where we are today with the state of COVID-19, things will be very fluid with regards to show dates. We will combine Zoom rehearsals with live rehearsals in the event we are unable to meet in person. Smaller groups will meet on Zoom and Live. We will keep the rehearsals fluid with specifics to be given one week before as we move through the season.
Monday, April 19, 2021 is first rehearsal/audition and parent meeting. For more info – click one of the enroll buttons below!
Once auditions have begun, there will be no refunds.

Shining Stars
AGES 11 to 18
Cost of Tuition: $1425.00
Auditions begin Saturday, January 16th from 9:30 am to 5 pm. FULL CAST is needed for the entire day of auditioning, and early script pickup will be available for those who pre-register. Please bring a lunch. CALLBACKS will occur on Thursday, January 21st from 6:15 to 9:30 pm.
Regular Rehearsals will be every Saturday from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm for Full Cast, and Thursdays from 6:15 to 9:30 pm for smaller numbers and scenes. There will be no rehearsal called on February 13th and 18th, April 3rd and 8th, May 29th, or June 10th due to various school Holidays and Breaks. Tech Rehearsals will occur June 13th-June 16th.

We appreciate your understanding and willingness to abide by all required safety standards and protocols. As of now, this show is scheduled to be rehearsed in studio whenever possible, and fully masked as necessary.

Every Wednesday, join Jimmy to study and learn more about the many facets of Musical Theater. One week, you may learn and prepare a song or monologue, and the next you may stage a Production Number from a popular Broadway Musical. You will discuss the audition process and learn about various renowned Musical Theater Directors and Choreographers. Each week will feature a different activity or topic. This is NOT a performance class, just a chance to get together and share your like-minded passion for all things Musical Theater with your peers! This will be a planned In Studio class with all safety precautions taken as necessary until the world dictates otherwise.
Ages 10 to 18
13-Week Course, all Wednesdays in March, April, and May from 4:30-6:30 pm.

The Principles of Acting
This semester we will be working on both contemporary and classical pieces and continuing our journey of the principles and foundations of acting. MTA resident acting coach Deborah Mathews will teach you how to become more present in your characters wants and needs.
12-Week Course meeting on Saturdays in February, March, and April from 2:30-5:30 pm. Classes begin on February 6th, 2021. Classes will meet In Studio and follow all suggested safety standards.

Drawing CharACTors with JawKnee
Learn how to draw CharACTors with JawKnee! Johnny comes to us with a Bachelor’s degree from LCAD in Illustration and Graphic Design. Join us as we learn the fundamentals of figure drawing and expressive character development. Supplies needed: sketch book, colored pencils in all colors, tablet (optional).
Classes are on Zoom Thursday’s, starting March 18, 2021 through May 20, 2021. There will be no classes the week of Moana )last week in March) and Spring Break.
