MTA offers full and partial scholarships to potential students who may not be able to afford tuition. Scholarships are offered to economically, socially and physically disadvantaged individuals who are recommended to MTA’s Board by a variety of local organizations who work to find the most deserving candidates possible. Candidates are carefully reviewed and assessed by MTA’s select panel of professional arts educators. Winners are selected based on their eligibility and potential to benefit from MTA’s STAR Program.

Currently MTA offers two full scholarships and two partial scholarships per production cycle. As funding efforts for the program increase, MTA hopes to broaden this opportunity significantly.
