MTA actively participates in an After Class Enrichment (ACE) program. The program is offered to local school districts as an extra-curricular activity that allows students, grade K-6 to K-8, to receive basic training in the fields of acting, singing and dancing. During an 8 to 10 week course, students are taught the skills needed to produce a shortened version of a popular musical. The ACE program culminates in a live performance at the school. The program is taught by MTA’s highly trained teaching staff and currently offers over 13 different production packages including “Alice in Wonderland,” “High School Musical,” “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” and many more. MTA is currently contracted with the Irvine Public Schools Foundation and is working to expand the program to other schools.
