The show tells the tale of eccentric inventor and dreamer Caractacus Potts, who, along with his two precocious young children and the beautiful Truly Scrumptious, embark on adventures unknown in an extraordinary car that Potts created called “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,” named for the unusual noises it makes.
